Medkit
Effect
Instant heal — small HP recovery. D-tier insufficient endgame healing per FRVR.
Medkit is the entry-level D-tier healing gadget — provides a small instant heal. FRVR marks it as D-tier because endgame Survival HP pools far exceed the Medkit’s heal value.
When to swap
Roll past Medkit toward Energy Shield or Infinity (defensive bubbles) as soon as you start hitting Survival wave 20+.
Best modes
The official tier list splits gadgets across three mode-specific rankings (Shiroo, 2026-05-09) — Beginner gadget tier list, Raid gadget ranking, and Survival / Infinity gadget ranking. Medkit only fits the Beginner bucket, and even there its survivability-first role is duplicated by Basic Shield. Foong’s Meta Build thread names Rage, Black Hole, and Infinity as the cosmetic-slot picks for Raid / Survival / Infinite — Medkit is absent from every mode loadout.
Tier positioning
Medkit sits at D tier alongside Basic Shield — insufficient endgame protection.
Synergies & comparison
Healing gadgets compete with defensive bubbles for the single cosmetic slot. Compared to Energy Shield (A-tier defensive damage-reduction window) and Infinity (A-tier, 15-second impenetrable bubble), Medkit’s reactive instant-heal cannot outpace endgame Survival damage-per-second. For Beginner survival use, pair Medkit with sustain-leaning ability/pet picks: Saiyan (V-skill auto-revive backstop) and Igris (+3% Lifesteal / +12% DMG / +15 HP — the only pet with Lifesteal). Once a defensive bubble unlocks, retire Medkit.
Acquisition
Medkit is a default starter gadget alongside Basic Shield.
