Trost

Trost is the newest map in Anime Apocalypse, added in the SBR+AOT update launched on 2026-05-09. It is the home of the Titan Defense mode — a tower-defence reimagining of the AoT Trost District battle where players protect Eren in Titan form as he carries a boulder.

The BEYONDTHEWALLS code from the same update launch is themed around this map and mode.

Aesthetic & atmosphere

Trost’s look is built on the Attack on Titan Trost District fortification — walls, gates, and an Eren-as-boulder-carrier centrepiece define the level’s visual language. The map is rated Advanced on the difficulty band and reads as a tower-defence layout rather than a dungeon corridor. The AoT cue is unmistakable for anyone who has seen the source anime.

Trost arrived with the Steel Ball Run + Attack on Titan update on 2026-05-09. Everything that launched with it:

Mode mechanics

Trost is the home map of Titan Defense — a tower-defence-style mode where players protect Titan Eren as he carries a boulder. Completing a Titan Defense run yields 100-150 Defense Coins per completion. Trost sits outside the Survival and Infinite rotation (Shibuya and Impel Down only) and outside the raid arenas.

Why farm here

Trost is the only farm location for Defense Coins: 100-150 per completion, and no other map drops them. It is also the newest map and mode, and the one tied to a code — BEYONDTHEWALLS is themed around it.

Synergies & comparison

Trost is mode-isolated — it does not share modes with Shibuya or Impel Down (the two Survival / Infinite maps) nor with Infinity Castle or Shadow Garden (the raid arenas). Titan Defense is the only mode that runs on Trost. The BEYONDTHEWALLS code is themed around this map and mode — the most concrete code-to-map binding in the game.

The Titan pets on this map

The Titan Pet Pack that launched alongside Trost has five pets. Colossus Titan is the meta-best across every build (+20% DMG / +25 HP / 3% Lifesteal), and Shield Titan has the highest Lifesteal in the roster (5%). Saw Puppy adds +14% DMG and +10% Coins, Medic Reindeer is the entry option (+8% DMG), and Pig is the collection filler (+3% Coins).
