Destructive Fists

Destructive Fists is the A-tier ability inspired by Akaza from Demon Slayer. The kit is a fast flurry of unarmed strikes — every slot is multi-hit, which makes Destructive Fists exceptionally trait-scaling: Reaper’s +35% DMG multiplies across g’s 78 ticks.

Destructive Fists is internally referred to as Akaza — Upper Moon Three from Demon Slayer. This is confirmed by:

• The official ❔ faq Discord channel — Best Traits on Abilities thread by Rolasyum (2026-05-10) explicitly lists “Destructive Fists / Akaza” under the Raids Reaper category
• The signature Destructive Mode / Compass Needle / Disorder skill names are direct Akaza references
• The in-game title Upper Moon is unlocked by killing Akaza raid boss 100 times or via 0.1% raid drop

Base damage (Foong, 2026-05-12)

Destructive Fists’ g (15×78 = 1170) ties Saiyan for third-highest single-button damage. The 78-tick multi-hit profile means Reaper trait stacks brutally — every +1 from trait stats turns into +78 across the cast.

The Akaza raid boss is the source of the Upper Moon title. Killing Akaza 100 times or pulling the 0.1% raid drop unlocks both the title and Akaza-themed cosmetic rewards from the raid shop.

Meta positioning

Rolasyum’s Tier 1 trait-pairing matrix (docs/04-tier-list.md §1.2.1) explicitly names “Destructive Fists / Akaza” under the Raids → Reaper Trait slot — placing this ability squarely in the Raid-DPS lane. Foong’s Raid Meta Build (docs/04-tier-list.md §1.1.1) lists “Spin / Naoya / Akaza / Coyote” as the four optimal Raid weapons; “Akaza” here is Destructive Fists’s IP name (per the §1.2.1 mapping). Tier 2 cross-source rosters (docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1) place it at A, with FRVR and Roonby as the two named sources.

The “early-to-mid game dominant” descriptor in docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1 reflects the fact that Destructive Fists is a Raid-rarity drop rather than a Mythic gacha pull — so it lands in player inventories earlier in the progression curve than Spin (0.5% raid drop) or other S-tier Mythics. Per the update-cycle note (docs/04-tier-list.md §5), Akaza is one of the long-standing Raid abilities; the post-SBR+AOT meta has added Spin / Naoya above it, but Akaza retains its Raid Reaper slot.

The Tier 1 weapon-upgrade table (docs/04-tier-list.md §1.3, Lunatic 2026-05-05) lists Destructive Fists in the Pure-DMG (7/0) group — all three upgrade columns recommend 7 DMG / 0 CD:

Per §1.3 “Tier 1 规律提取” — Destructive Fists is in the same Pure-DMG cohort as Shadow Monarch / Saiyan / Atomic / Head of Hei. These are the abilities where CD is already low enough (or the kit mechanic is fast-cycling enough) that every upgrade level goes to raw DMG. Reaper is the Tier 1 Raid choice per Rolasyum; Flash is interchangeable on the upgrade math but Rolasyum reserves Flash for Survival / Infinite (§1.2.2). The multi-hit g-slot (15 × 78 = 1170) means Reaper’s +35% DMG multiplies across 78 ticks — this is the structural reason Akaza pairs with Reaper.

Synergies & comparison

• Versus Spin: Spin (g = 1881 per docs/04-tier-list.md §1.1) tops Destructive Fists (g = 1170) on g-slot DPS and Spin is Foong’s #1 Raid pick. Destructive Fists is the more accessible Raid drop while you farm SBR for Spin.
• Versus Atomic: Atomic (g = 704) trails Destructive Fists on raw g, but Atomic’s v-skill (779) and Tier 1 Title (+32% DMG / +30% Drops) give it a different value lane. Both are Pure-DMG (7/0) per docs/04-tier-list.md §1.3.
• Versus Head of Hei: Head of Hei (g = 1600) is the second-highest g-slot in the game and shares the Pure-DMG (7/0) upgrade row. Naoya (Head of Hei) is in the Raid Reaper matrix alongside Akaza — both are simultaneously slot-able for Raid runs.
